People often are curious about how I devised and attached myself to my style of reflective dynamic veins accompanying stylistically rigid subjects, and honestly, it would be more fun to show you the journey instead of just writing about it, so without further ado, here is a venture into how my style came to be, but we’ll end at the beginning, and start with the art I did leading up to my current works.

The early years (When I was five years old)
It all began with — this is the part where you interject with the “seriously Skye? You’re showing us the fridge pictures?” To which I will forever say, yes, yes I am, because the youngest version of me that picked up a pencil and stubbornly decided to create something that she wanted to see (and didn’t stop until she saw something she wanted to see) is the version that often gets overlooked, and that’s the whole point of life I think, to return to that childlike wonder, curiosity and willful determination… So yeah, you’re seeing a few pieces from little Skye’s collection.
